Perched above the Pearl River at the highest point of The Bayview, this residence was conceived as a retreat suspended between city and landscape.
The design draws on the site's extraordinary vantage point, framing expansive views while creating a sense of calm and refuge above the energy of the city below. Natural materials, soft tonal contrasts, and carefully considered spatial sequences foster a connection to the surrounding environment, allowing light, sky, and water to become integral elements of the experience.
The result is a home that balances openness and intimacy and becomes a place for contemplation, restoration, and everyday living within the skyline.
