This project explores the workplace as a reflection of creative process.

Designed for Martin Kemp Design in London, the office was conceived as an environment where craftsmanship, material exploration, and design thinking could be experienced rather than displayed. The objective was not only to create a functional workspace, but to embed the studio's values within the architecture itself.

Custom details were developed across multiple scales, transforming technical and functional requirements into opportunities for expression. Pleated wall surfaces integrated lighting controls within the architecture, while bespoke furniture combined stone, upholstery, and crafted detailing to create pieces that sit between workplace furniture and collectible design.

The project demonstrates an approach in which every component contributes to a larger design narrative. Rather than acting as a neutral backdrop for work, the office becomes an active representation of the studio's creative culture, where materiality, craft, and innovation are woven into the everyday experience of the space.
